Over the last couple of years I’ve got to know the Wilsons really well. I’ve had the privilege to document some of the most special occasions in their life, I captured their wedding day and Sarah’s pregnancy. Last week was my favourite occasion to date, meeting their new baby. Unlike a lot of my newborn sessions little Lucy was in the second phase, the one where the baby becomes more alert and aware of the world around them. Rather than sleeping through our session she was bright eyed and smiling up at her mum and dad. I was able to capture some gorgeous moments of this family in their home. Congratulations Jono and Sarah, she is perfect!
Nathan and Kristen's Elopement
On the 15th of August 2020 I photographed the surprise elopement of Nathan and Kristen. The two tied the knot at Cloud 9, a boutique holiday property with 180 degree views overlooking Jervis Bay. The couple invited their closest friends and family to witness the ceremony and celebrate the occasion. After they were announced Mr and Mrs Pfitzner, they headed off to Blenheim Beach for some portraits with their daughter Kobi. It was an honour to capture this beautiful elopement, congratulations to you both!

Drew and Rebeccah's Wedding
Earlier this year Drew and Rebeccah were forced to postpone their wedding because of the pandemic. With the restrictions easing they were able to tie the knot on the 8th of August 2020. Unfortunately, their new date fell on one of the wettest days this winter which meant the plan to get married in Apex Park had to change and the couple had their ceremony at their reception venue. In the week prior to the wedding, the couple were also forced to change reception venues as their original venue would not allow the booking to proceed.
What became so apparent in the lead up to their wedding was this couple’s love for each other. You would think that they would be stressed or upset about the constant curveballs, but instead, they were so happy to be finally getting married that the other details didn’t matter.
Congratulations Drew and Rebeccah, I loved getting to know you both and it felt so nice to celebrate a marriage in these crazy times.

Ryder Building Group Hillcrest Townhouses
Over the past month I have been working closely with the team at Ryder Building Group to photograph some of their latest projects. Our latest shoot together was Hillcrest, two townhouses in Wollongong, NSW. The exterior of the properties features a mix of PGH bricks and monument cladding which provide a new meets old industrial finish. Both townhouses have recently been styled in preperation to hit the market.

Grace Godlewski Newborn Session
Last week I was invited into the Godlewski home to capture some memories for the family with their newest addition, Grace. It was beautiful to see how their eldest daughter Georgia was so proud to introduce me to her little sister. Congratulations Andy and Abby, your little princess is perfect.

Last week I met up with Aaron and Brittney Resch, two of my past wedding clients. This time, it was in the home, to meet their new baby Georgie Carmen. It was so sweet to see how this little girl is already so loved.
Inviting someone into your home to capture photos of your brand new baby is a big thing, and I don’t take that lightly. I feel honoured to be trusted by new parents and so blessed to be welcomed into that newborn bubble. My approach to newborn photography is to take time to get to know you and capture your authentic moments as a family. I try to help everyone feel at ease because the best photos are raw and full of emotion.

Baby Avoka Cantarakis
There is something so beautiful about walking into a home that has recently welcomed a new life. Last week I met up with parents Steve and Jess to meet their little girl, baby Avoka. I wanted to capture some memories of those first few moments of newborn life, so our session was full of lots of cuddles and kisses. Congratulations on the sweetest addition to the family!
Bridal Editorial Shoot
We jump at the opportunity to get creative and do something a little different. Usually, our bridal shoots take place right on sunset at a local venue using natural light. Earlier this month, we joined up with some other wedding suppliers for an indoor editorial style shoot. We wanted to focus on the bride, using minimal flowers and no props.

In the Nursery With Tyde Tooth
Last week we caught up with Jayde and Rachel Tooth at their home to meet the newest addition to the family, baby Tyde. Tyde may just be the most chilled out baby we’ve ever met, he was asleep almost the whole time we were there, not even waking when the dogs gave him a kiss.
Jayde and Rachel allowed us to photograph some products that will be available to purchase soon in our new online store, The Cot Club. With our wedding photography business being impacted by the bushfires and the pandemic we decided to start something new. After being in our own baby bubble we wanted to open an online store for all the things we have loved and needed for the little ones. In our newborn session, you can see some of our baby swaddles and cot organiser.

Keira Turns Six
To celebrate turning six, our niece Keira asked to go the Shoalhaven Animal Park with her family. We had to take advantage of having her cousins all together to get some family photos. These kids made the day so much fun. Happy Birthday Keira!

Aaron and Katie's Engagement Shoot
Last weekend I met up with Aaron and Katie, an engaged couple who have booked me in for their wedding photography. They wanted their session captured at the Nowra Showgrounds, so we met up by the stables and took a walk over to the pavilion and into surrounding bushland. This was my first session at this location, and I will definitely be using it again. After a fun session I am looking forward to catching with these guys again at the wedding!
Mitch and Taylor's Lake Conjola Engagement Session
This engagement shoot has been a long time in the making. Mitch and Taylor have been planning their engagement session at Lake Conjola for a while now but thanks to the Christmas bushfires and Covid-19 they had to postpone. After much anticipation it was great to meet up with these two ahead of their wedding in Milton. Congratulations on your engagement, I can’t wait to join you both at the wedding!
