Earlier this month I worked alongside the team at South Coast Property Styling to photograph one of their recent projects; the interior styling of Wallace Peak. The first stage of this newly completed retirement village contains independent living units with two bedrooms, generous living space as well as front and rear balcony access. It is located in Nowra, NSW and the units are now available for purchase.
Josh and Mikayla's Wedding in Drummoyne
Planning a wedding is hard but throw in a pandemic and I don’t know how this couple managed! After a few hiccups in the lead up to their day they decided to tie the knot at Ecco Ristorante, a unique waterfront venue in Drummoyne, NSW. Their ceremony was picture perfect, saying I do while overlooking Sydney Harbour. They dined with their friends and family before heading off for some afternoon portraits. I had lots of fun getting to know the couple and celebrating such a special time in their lives. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Bridges, I wish you both every happiness in your future as husband and wife.

Bonnie's Onederland Party

The Wilson Family
Earlier this month I caught up with the Wilson’s at their home in Burrill Lake. This little family was celebrating their youngest members first birthday. I had so much fun watching Addalyn and her big sister Aria smash the cakes made by Cakes by Kori. Tim’s Family Shoot at Werri Beach
Earlier this month I photographed Tim, his two daughters and their dog Frankie. We met up at Werri Beach, which is one of their favourite pet friendly locations on the coast. The session was a great way to create tangible memories for this little family. As a dad of two daughters, I know that special bond so the importance of this session really resonated with me. Mick and Amy's Kangaroo Valley Elopement
On the 5th of October 2020, Mick and Amy eloped in a beautiful ceremony overlooking Kangaroo Valley at Wildwood. Together with their three lovely children, the couple celebrated the occasion in a bohemian style wedding, with preserved flowers, a stunning Spell gown, and free-flowing floral gowns for the girls. Local celebrant Shantele Whitaker officiated the marriage and made sure she emphasised the importance of love in the marriage as well as the love of their family. Before the day Amy had told me that she wasn’t too fussed on a run sheet, 2020 had already mucked the plans around so she was happy to just go with it. I love that about this couple, they are so easy going and a real joy to be around. Congratulations Mick and Amy on tying the knot!

Steve and Danielle's Wedding at Jaspers Berry
Steve and Danielle were supposed to get married in March this year but unfortunately, like many couples around the world they were forced to postpone their big day. These two tied the knot in a beautiful garden wedding at Jaspers, Berry and celebrated the day in style. With some guests unable to attend, the wedding was live streamed so their friends and family around the world could witness the special occasion. Cohen and Anna's Milton Wedding
For most couples, there is a big mood shift right after they’re announced husband and wife. They suddenly relax and they begin to glow with happiness. For Cohen and Anna, that wasn’t the case. These newlyweds had that high-level energy all day. They were grinning from the getgo. I am convinced they are the happiest couple I’ve ever met. Even between posed photos, the two were laughing the whole time. Their happiness is infectious.

New Listing in Berrara
Last week I photographed 13 Kirpson Street in Berrara, NSW. This beautiful new home features polished concrete flooring, modern barn doors, and recycled bricks. It has been thoughtfully designed to ensure every room is light-filled. I love the louver windows throughout the property and the kitchen that blends a modern shaker profile with a mid-century inspired timber. This property will be hitting the market very soon.

Ahead of their latest release and first business birthday I caught up with the owners of Harley The Label to shoot some of their spring pieces. This South Coast business was co founded by two sisters Ally and Reanah and is one to keep an eye on. These girls design pieces that are comfortable for the kids and look great too. Having photographed their first collection it’s been great to see how this brand evolved with the seasons - moving from swimwear to loungewear. Baby Pierce Newborn Session
The first stage of life is so precious. The days all roll into one, you haven’t had much sleep and suddenly this little person who you’ve been counting down the days to meet is finally here. You find yourself all consumed by love, busily changing nappies, and cuddled up feeding. Your heart warms when you get a smile or hear a sweet sound. Sure, it’s tiring but you wouldn’t have it any other way.
I love to be invited into that newborn bubble. To capture moments that perhaps would otherwise be missed in the craziness. To photograph not only the baby but the siblings, the parents, the home. To preserve those memories. To help the parents that snap photos on their iPhone, only to realise later that they weren’t in any of the images.
I had the pleasure of documenting the Hedges family at their home last week. I met baby Pierce and big brother Quinn. I spent some time in the nursery watching the day unfold with this family of four. It was an honour.

On the 17th of August 2020 I photographed the wedding of Chris and Emma, four months after their original date. I first met this lovely couple three years ago at Chris’ sisters wedding. Since then, I have joined his family for so many special milestones, so photographing his wedding felt more like a mate than a client. The Barnes wedding was a big celebration of love and the blending of two families.

Surprise Proposal at Worrowing Estate
Coming up is our favourite shoot at Worrowing Estate. The brief was bold and colourful. We drew our inspiration from Valentines Day so we wanted to feature a mix of reds and pinks. The Wedding and Event Creators worked with Ivy Lane Collective to bring this beautiful vision to life.
The bride wore a stunning gown by The Bondi Bride and hair accessory by And You Bridal. Brigette Alana embraced and enhanced Shannon’s natural beauty to give her a luxurious bridal look.
Ahead of the shoot celebrant Shoshanna Vernham got to know the couple and wrote some personal vows that they could read to one another in a mock ceremony she had prepared. This really set a romantic mood for the afternoon.
Belinda from White Cherry Invitations nailed our brief for the stationery. We wanted to showcase a kids table, a singles table and a bridal table. She created the menus, place cards, table signs, hangover favours, vow books, drink coasters and even the bar sign. She was so incredible to work with and we were amazed at how much she could print in house.
The highlight of the shoot was our “first look”. We had just explained to Shannon how they work and we had asked her to turn her back so Jed could approach her. The real surprise was that when she turned around he was on one knee asking her to be his wife. Once Shannon knew it was no longer part of the shoot and that he was really asking she said yes and jumped into his arms. It’s moments like these that make us so happy to be there with our cameras, documenting love.

Mitchell and Taylor's Wedding
You only have to spend five minutes with Mitch and Taylor to realise how perfect they are for one another. This couple is so happy and fun to be around that it was an absolute pleasure to photograph their wedding.
The couple were forced to change venues in the lead up to their big day because the venue they had booked closed for the remainder of the year. I think their new plans trumped the original ones because their outdoor ceremony in Woodstock was absolutely perfect!
They spent the night celebrating with their nearest and dearest at The Milton Hotel, and it was a whole lot of fun! The highlight was watching some competitive trivia.
