Earlier this month I photographed a recent renovation project in Currarong by Holmes Building. Holmes Building was established by Darren Holmes in 2011 and is known for its quality homes with high attention to detail. β When you work with their south coast team, they make it their goal to give you the flexibility and communication needed to make the very best decision throughout the building process.
Amber and Damien's Newborn Session
After a year of trying, Amber and Damoβs dreams came true with a positive pregnancy test. Fast forward nine months and they welcomed their first child into the world, a beautiful baby girl who they named Annie Mae Tierney. She arrived on Tuesday the 11th of May and already has so many people wrapped around her teeny tiny finger. I felt so honoured to be invited into the Tierney home to capture some memories for their now family of three. Congratulations to you both!
Emma and Liam's Jervis Bay Engagement Session
Itβs no secret that I love documenting couples who are in love! Engagement sessions are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera ahead of your wedding day, plus what an exciting time in your lives to capture. Living on the south coast means Iβve shot my fair share of beach shoots, but itβs no coincidence I actually suggest this location to most of my clients. When I recommend we go to Jervis Bay itβs because I am confident we will get white sand, clear waters and a lot of space to roam. Liam and Emma agreed to have their photos taken at Greenfieldβs Beach in Vincentia, and Iβm so glad they did because we got one epic sunset.
Amber and Andrew's Kiama Wedding
Today we are taking a look at the highlights from Amber and Andrewβs coastal wedding. These two had their ceremony on the 24th of April 2021 at Kiama Anglican Church. They spent the morning apart, which made seeing each other at the end of aisle even more special. We had a beautiful sunset for the bridal party portraits before making our way to the Sebel in Kiama for a night of hilarious speeches and dancing. We loved seeing how these parents made sure to include their children throughout the entire day. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Spinelli!

Simon and Caitlin's Wedding at The Woods Farm
On the 19th of April I spent the day photographing the wedding of Simon and Caitlin. These two decided to get ready in two of the quirky farm houses on site at The Woods Farm before making their way to the rustic bush chapel for an intimate wedding surrounded by Jervis Bay bushland. After the ceremony, I joined the newlyweds for some afternoon portraits - we didnβt have to go far as this country retreat has so many stunning spots for photos. When we got back to the wedding shed, the party really kicked off. A highlight of the night was listening to the groomβs son and best man roast his dad. I have never laughed so hard during a speech.
Thank you to Simon and Caitlin for sharing the magic of your wedding day, I had an awesome time celebrating with you both.

John and Hayley's Dungowan Estate Wedding
On the 17th of April 2021 John and Hayley became the new Mr and Mrs Ball. Hayley spent the morning preparing for the day with her immediate family and reminiscing over how the two met at the local races. John spent the morning with his best man Rob and his two sons, nervously waiting for the ceremony. He instantly felt at ease when Hayley approached the aisle with her father. The ceremony perfectly reflected the couple - their shared values of family and the fun times they have together. We didnβt have to go far for the portraits because the couple had hired Dungowan Estate - an incredible property with beautiful backdrops at every turn. Once the photos were finished they made their way to Hayleyβs family property for a sit-down wedding in a marquee followed by a night where the dance floor was full and the drinks were flowing. We had a ball at this wedding and feel honoured to be part of such a special day.

Michael and Lena's Wedding
On Saturday the 10th of April we photographed Michael and Lenaβs wedding in Austinmer and never have we wanted to be Greek more.
Michael and Lena spent the morning apart, but only a few doors away, getting ready in the two penthouses at Austinmer Headland Hotel. They exchanged vows in a romantic outdoor ceremony while overlooking Austinmer Beach and the beautiful surrounding escarpment. Once they were officially married, they jumped into their Kombi and made their way up to Stanwell Tops for some portraits with the bridal party. As the sun started to set, it was time to make their way back to the reception to join their friends and family for one hell of a party.
We had so much fun at this wedding that when it was time to go home, we put our cameras down and joined the dance floor, which was never empty.
Thank you to Michael and Lena for not only booking us for the photography, but sharing all the fun. All the best to you both!

Bec and Nick's Cronulla Wedding
Bec and Nick held their coastal wedding in The Founders Room at the Wanda SLSC on the 9th of April 2021. They said their I doβs overlooking Wanda Beach, in a beautiful ceremony with their closest friends and family. This easy going couple perfectly suited my relaxed, photojournalist approach to wedding photography. They were all smiles from the moment we met in the morning to saying goodbye that night. These two really light up the room with their infectious happiness and love for each other. Thank you for having me along to document the first chapter of married life.

Family Session in Barrengarry
Earlier this month I met up with past clients Jordan and Lisette to capture some family photos. Since their wedding they have welcomed a baby into the world, so it seemed fitting to capture some memories with their latest addition. Lisette and her family were staying in Barrengarry to celebrate her fatherβs 70th birthday so the photos were a great memory for the grandparents too. Here are some of the highlights from our afternoon together.
Georgia's Maternity Session
We had the most perfect sunset at Honeymoon Bay to capture the last trimester for Georgia, who will soon be the mother of two. I always love taking family photos at the beach, it means the kids can explore and enjoy themselves so the photos always come out a lot more natural. Here are some of my favourite photos from our afternoon together.
The Gibbs Family welcome baby Adelaide
Today on the blog Iβm sharing my in home session with The Gibbs family. After 53 hours of labour, Abbey gave birth to her gorgeous girl Adelaide Rae Gibbs at 6:21am on the 8th of April 2021. This little girl has brought so much joy into the lives of not only Jack and Abbey, but their families too. Thank you for letting me capture such a precious time in your lives, enjoy all those newborn cuddles.
Haydn and Ellen's Kangaroo Valley Wedding
On the 29th of March 2021, Haydn and Ellen tied the knot at Wildwood Kangaroo Valley. They said their βI doβsβ surrounded by pristine Australian rainforest in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the valley. We explored the surroundings for intimate portraits as the sun set, before making our way to the marquee for a traditional sit-down wedding. Having spent time getting to know these two newlyweds it was clear that they built their relationship around their shared family values. For me, the highlight of the day was hearing how heartfelt their vows were to one another. Congratulations Haydn and Ellen, enjoy your highlights!

Jordan's Surprise Proposal at The Cove Jervis Bay
On the 18th of April, Jordan surprised his girlfriend Naomi with an afternoon grazing picnic at The Cove Jervis Bay. With a little help from Naomiβs sister, he also popped the question while enjoying the sunset on the shore. I was able to put my paparazzi skills to good use by hanging back and capturing the moment as it happened. Congratulations to Jordan and Naomi on your engagement, I wish you both every happiness.

The Ellis Family Welcomes Twins
Andrew and Brooke welcomed two new members to the Ellis family and I had the pleasure of taking their newborn photos. This new family of five decided to venture outside for their session to let their older son Archer explore Hyams Beach and to show Boston and Xander some of the beautiful south coast. We decided to use a bassinet for their shoot because these sleepy boys needed a nap mid-session. While twins may mean double the work for their parents, they sure bring double the love. What a sweet family to spend some time with.
Alessia and Leighβs Woodhill Wedding
Alessia and Leighβs special day started on a beautiful morning in Berry, NSW; the bride being pampered with hair and makeup while the groom prepared for the day and had a beer with his mates.
With stunning bouquets in their hands, the girls made their way up Woodhill Mountain to the ceremony location. Nestled beneath the escarpment they said their I doβs overlooking the stunning south coast. As the sun went down we explored the surroundings for portraits before joining their friends and family for a marquee-style wedding. The night was full of memorable speeches and heartfelt moments. Once the formalities were over the couple hit the dance floor to celebrate with everyone.
We had so much fun documenting your big day and we wish you the very best on your new life together!

Daniel and Jo's Engagement Session
I am so excited to share a few images from this recent engagement session in Jervis Bay. Daniel and Jo decided to enjoy a bit of a get away for their engagement session. They ventured down to the south coast and spent some time exploring the area before having their engagement photos at Greenfields Beach. They warned me that I had my work set out since they are awkward in photos, but I call liars! These two were naturals and they have me so pumped for the wedding! See you in a few months lovers!
Nadine's Newborn Shoot in Jervis Bay
Earlier this month I met up with Jeff and Nadine to capture some of those early moments for this now family of four. They decided they wanted their portraits taken at Blenheim, one of Jervis Bayβs stunning beaches surrounded by national park. As a father of two daughters myself, I know how nice it is watching your eldest daughter take on the role of proud big sister. Congratulations Jeff and Nadine, you have a beautiful family and taking your photos was a joy.
Mark and Emma's Wollongong Wedding
On the 26th of March 2021 Mark and Emma said βI doβ in an intimate ceremony nestled amongst the roses at the Wollongong Botanic Gardens. They explored the lush surroundings with their bridal party before making their way to the Harbour precinct for more photos. The celebrations continued into the night where the celebrated their marriage in style at Level One Harbourfront. The highlight of the day was watching the father of the bride see his daughter in her dress for the first time. Hayley's Family Session at Tapitallee
Earlier this month I caught up with Hayley and her extended family at their home in Tapitallee. Hayley decided that she wanted to include the grandparents in her newborn session because they are such an important part of her life. When a new baby enters the world, itβs not just the mum and dad in that love bubble. My favourite part of our morning together was seeing how proud her eldest son was to be a brother. Here are some of the highlights from our in home portraits.
