Welcoming a newborn into your family is a beautiful, emotional time. As a family photographer, I love when I have the opportunity to document these early days as everyone in the family gets to know its newest member. That’s why it was such a pleasure to catch up with Aaron, Britt and Georgie to welcome baby Frankie with a newborn lifestyle photography session. Welcoming a new baby sister can sometimes be daunting for older siblings, but not for Georgie! She is SO excited about being a big sister, and she was excited to be part of the session.
Ben and Haley's Wedding
The pandemic has caused so many couples to postpone their wedding wedding, but the silver lining is that it’s giving couples like Ben and Haley more time to plan their big day. On the 13th of March 2022 Mr and Mrs Ford tied the knot in front of a close group of friends and family. Following their ceremony at The Groundz they made their way to the Wollongong Botanical Gardens for some afternoon portraits. From the sweetest first look with Haleys bridesmaids and father to the candid in-between moments, I loved capturing all the emotions as they unfolded. If you love the idea of an indoor wedding, in a unique bar, this is the blog post you don’t wan’t to miss.

Ryan and Ashley's Wedding
Ryan and Ashley had been looking forward to their big day, which was originally planned for 2020, but due to the pandemic, they had to change those plans and reschedule for two years later. They opted for an intimate celebration at their home in Helensburgh. Between the character filled house and the surrounding National Park, their home really was the perfect place to say “I do.” What I loved most about this sentimental celebration was the inclusion of their beautiful children, and how they emphasised the shared value of family.

Baby Banks
Good morning! It is a great privilege to be welcomed into the home of new parents to document those first few weeks. As a father of two little girls, I understand firsthand how quickly those first months of our children’s lives are, which is why I encourage you to either get newborn professional photos or pick up the camera to capture some memories.
Congratulations to Rory and Mariah on the arrival of Banks, he is absolutely adorable! Here are a few of my favourite photos from your in home session.
Cameron and Sandee's Bendooley Wedding
Rain, hail, floods or shine Sandee and Cameron were getting married on the 7th of March 2022.
Bendooley Estate was the perfect country venue for these two to tie the knot in the Southern Highlands. Having spent the morning apart getting ready they first laid eyes on each other at the end of aisle, a heartfelt moment witnessed by their nearest and dearest. They said their I do’s in the Stables, a beautiful barn that looks out across the paddocks. Once married, they took advantage of a quick break in the rain to set out for some photos with their bridal party.
The celebrations kicked off early and the newlyweds couldn’t stop smiling. I’m glad I got to share in their happiness. Congratulations guys!

Lachlan and Maree's Engagement Session
From the sweetest walk along the boardwalk to an intimate shoot on the beach, there’s something so special about an afternoon spent in Jervis Bay. Lachlan and Maree celebrated their recent engagement with a photo session at Greenfields Beach. The couple’s session includes a mix of candid moments the couple shared as we explored the National Park and shore, here are some of my favourites.
Hayden and Morgan's Crooked River Winery Wedding
This season has been quite crazy, especially with all this rain. In the lead up to Morgan and Hayden’s wedding the Shoalhaven experienced flash flooding, however on the 5th of March the skies were clear which meant these two could tie the knot just as they had planned.
They held their ceremony right outside Crooked River Winery, overlooking the rolling hills of Gerringong - a picture-perfect backdrop. Once the marriage was official, they set off with their bridal party for some afternoon portraits. Their guests were entertained with some classic lawn games outside while they were gone. The good times didn’t stop there, they hosted a sit-down reception where they enjoyed delicious food, flowing drinks and a night of heartfelt speeches and dancing.

Callum and Maddy's Mali Brae Farm Wedding
Cal and Maddy tied the knot on the 4th of March in the Southern Highlands. Maddy’s attention to detail for every part of the wedding was absolutely perfect, from the gifts to her groom to the styling of the reception. While the weather wasn’t ideal, we were still able to capture some amazing shots as the sun set over Mali Brae Farm. They held their ceremony in the Pavilion which overlooks the rolling hills and sits alongside the Old Ruins. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Lowe and all the best in your next chapter.

Benjamin and Laura's Gerringong Wedding
Ben and Laura held their wedding at Soul of Gerringong in a beautiful intimate outdoor ceremony. They drew inspiration for their special day from the many years of their relationship that were spent sailing on the ocean together. Having been part of surf life saving together and later purchasing a yacht the two have a big connection to the coastline, giving extra meaning to the saying “tying the knot.”
A lot of thought and attention to detail went into the wedding. Laura wore a sentimental ring on her right hand, that was made from both of her grandmothers. Her gown had a flower attached to the lining that was originally from her mothers wedding dress. They focused a lot of attention on food for the day, Laura does a lot of cooking herself and always says food is love so they wanted to show that in the catering. I enjoyed sharing a meal with the couple and hearing the heartfelt speeches from their friends and family.
Congratulations Ben and Laura, here are the highlights from your wedding at Soul.

With the help of Mollymook Beachside Weddings, Mitchell and Phoebe were able to bring to life their dream coastal wedding. They spent the morning seperately preparing for the ceremony, before meeting each other at the end of the aisle to say “I do”. Following the formalities they explored the beach for some portraits with the bridal party before making their way back to an awesome reception which had uninterrupted views of Mollymook Beach. Here are the highlights from a beautiful wedding.

Brandon and Katrina's Wedding
A happy couple, loving friends and family, and a ceremony at a secret castle - what more could you want in a wedding? Brandon and Katrina’s big day was the perfect combination of elegant and joyful. While they could have let the rain get them down, nothing could dampen their spirits.
Following their intimate ceremony, the couple explored the surrounding bushland for some stunning portraits before making their way back for a night of celebrating with friends and family.
Like many couples around the world, they wanted to get married on an unforgettable date and so they chose 22.2.22 to make things official.
One look at their gorgeous gallery and you’ll be ready to plan a visit to this amazing Sydney castle.
Congratulations Brandon and Katrina, I am so happy for you both.

The Ellis Twins Cake Smash
So I’ve heard that twins are double the work, but they are also double the fun. That couldn’t be more true for this twin birthday cake smash. It feels like only yesterday I met brothers Boston and Xander for their newborn shoot, and now they are on the move! I loved catching up with the Ellis family to see how life as a family of five is going one year on, and it seems that while they still have their hands full the home is full of so much love. Here are some of my favourite shots from our session. Happy birthday boys!
Ben and Tegan's Terara Riverside Gardens Wedding
After deciding they wanted to tie the knot on the south coast, Ben and Tegan chose Terara Riverside Gardens to host their special day. Their stylist Piccolo and Poppi did an amazing job at helping the couple bring their modern romance theme to life! Their personalised ceremony took place in the rose sanctuary, a private garden within the property. They didn’t have to go far, as the reception was held on site in the marquee which was decorated with beautiful wooden tables and soft pastel florals. Their wedding was the perfect celebration for their marriage and placed so much importance on their shared love for family.
From the couple’s sweet pre-ceremony moments to their newlywed portraits right through to their reception, every moment was planned and executed perfectly. Congratulations guys!

Jake and Gabrielle's Elopement
Choosing to elope allows you to be really intentional about how you spend your big day. It means you can get ready together and spend more time one on one. Jake and Gabrielle wanted a meaningful celebration that truly reflected them as a couple. They also wanted to share that experience with their daughter Sophie. We loved that not only did they decide on an intimate ceremony in Jervis Bay but they also wanted to keep their marriage a secret so they could surprise their family. Below are some of my favourite shots from their secret south coast elopement.

With a focus on dining, they chose a venue known for its gourmet food and rustic restaurant experience. Taite and Victoria's Wedding at Driftwood
Taite and Victoria’s rustic wedding at Driftwood Shed was even better than I imagined. This laid back couple tied the knot overlooking the Shoalhaven river, where they made promises for their future together. Surrounded by all the people who mean the most to them they read the vows which evoked so much emotion, from laughter to tears. Once officially married, they set off for some afternoon portraits around the property. The celebrations kicked off early with roaming canapés, a mobile bar and speeches in the gardens. Once the formalities concluded the dance floor opened up and the party began, what a fun night.
Congratulations Taite and Vic, we loved capturing your special day! Enjoy the highlights.

Josh and Arrie's Badja Wedding
As the years have gone on, bush weddings have grown increasingly popular. Some couples gravitate to the Australian landscape while others choose to get married without the restrictions imposed by traditional venues. For Josh and Arrie, they decided to get married in Badja after recently making the move from the south coast to the alpine region to live a rural life with their kids.
With the help of Shoalhaven Event Hire and Cooma Equipment Hire, this couple transformed their property into an incredible space to host a wedding that could only be described as rustic elegance. What I loved most about this wedding was how fun the couple was to be around, they were carefree and embraced having a good time. Thanks guys for inviting me along to capture your wedding. Enjoy your highlights!

Rhys and Rachel's Wedding
If you know my wedding photography, you know I love beach weddings. Rhys and Rachel tied the knot at Narrawallee on the 5th of February 2022 in a heartfelt ceremony with their closest friends and family. Once married they set off with their big bridal party for some afternoon portraits. This bunch was hilarious to hang out with and made these photos such a fun part of the day. As the sun began to set they made their way back to Mollymook Golf Club for a reception with uninterrupted views of the beautiful Mollymook Beach, an idyllic events space right on the shoreline. The highlight of the day was watching the bride and groom have their first dance, which they had perfected thanks to months of dance lessons.
Congratulations Rhys and Rachel, you guys reminded me just how much I love weddings.

After the rings and vows were exchanged, they signed the legal documents and made their way down the aisle hand in hand as husband and wife. The two spent the afternoon celebrating with their friends and family in an outdoor reception surrounded by rolling hills. Once the sun started to set we explored the property for some golden hour portraits before returning to their guests for a night of live music and dancing.
