Oliver and Catrin's Wedding at The Woods Farm

After getting inspired by an elegant chapel surrounded by Australian bushland, Catrin and Oliver decided to tie the knot at The Woods Farm. Little did they know, that two months after booking their 2020 wedding the world would go into lockdown thanks to a global pandemic.

Two years on, they were finally able to have the wedding of their dreams. They said “I do” surrounded by nature and beneath the opulent chandeliers in the chapel.

A gorgeous barn, country cottages, stunning arrangements of florals, and a beautiful wedding dress — the couple had a very specific vision for their big day. With the help of florist Papillon De Fleur their vision was brought to life.

If the thought of an elegant country wedding appeals to you, then you need to see the highlights from this Jervis Bay wedding.

Aaron and Katie's Coolangatta Estate Wedding

On Friday the 6th of May Aaron and Katie held their unforgettable wedding at Coolangatta Estate, an idyllic country venue located on the south coast of NSW. Katie arrived to the vineyard in a Kombi van ready to become Mrs Jones. They locked eyes for the first time in the gardens at the end of the aisle. The marriage was officiated by Merinda Richardson who took the couples friends and family on a trip down memory lane, which set the mood for a lovely romantic day. Once married Aaron and Katie joined Dane and Dion for some afternoon portraits as the sun set across the sweeping mountains which created the most epic golden hour. The newlyweds held their reception inside the winery and it was a night full of memorable speeches, charged glasses and lots of dancing.

Miles and Emma's Wedding at The Woods Farm

I’ve seen my fair share of unique wedding venues over the last couple of years, but there’s no place quite like The Woods Farm. With onsite country cottages, glamping tents, a rustic wood chapel and some resident farmyard friends this venue has it all and more.

Events X Eleni planned and coordinated the wedding of Miles and Emma on the 29th of April and it was magic. They spent the morning getting ready separately before meeting at the end of the aisle where they officially became husband and wife underneath the beautiful chandeliers. Once married, they set off with the biggest smiles for some afternoon photographs around the property.

The night was spent with their friends and family celebrating in the barn where the drinks were flowing, the speeches were hilarious, and the dance floor was never empty.

Congratulations newlyweds, enjoy the highlights!

Nathan and Kim's Elopement

Nathan and Kim decided that there was no better place than Jervis Bay to say “I do”. Their ceremony could only be described as intimate and wholesome, with love as the focus. Their beautiful elopement was coordinated by I do Drive Thru weddings and officiated by Merinda Richardson. Once the documents were signed and the marriage was legal they set off for some portraits on the white sands of Vincentia. Rose and Andrew's Wedding at Dolls Point

On Friday the 22nd of April Andrew and Rosemary became husband and wife. They held their intimate ceremony at Pine Park in Dolls Point, where the couple arrived the same way they departed, smiling hand in hand. They were joined by their friends and family at the St George Motor Boat Club for a fun filled reception that included all the traditions we know and love - heartfelt speeches, a first dance and a very delicious cake. Keith and Jaclyns Wedding

What an amazing day this was for Keith and Jaclyn! A beautiful venue, loving friends and family and so much happiness! When I arrived to take some getting ready photos of the girls at The Old Church I was taken back at how incredible the property was.

Like most couples getting married this year the weather was hit and miss for these two, but luckily we had a little break in the rain which meant we could take some afternoon portraits as the sun set.

I know I say this a lot, but I am so lucky that I get to photograph weddings for a living. What an absolute dream to attend so many beautiful weddings.

Congrats guys, here are some of my favourite moments from the day.

Jarrod and Candice's Austinmer Wedding

Smiling and laughing is how Jarrod and Candice spent their wedding day which was held at Headlands Hotel in Austinmer, NSW. They chose this venue as it overlooked the stunning coastline and had the space to host both their ceremony and reception. It was easy to capture the happiness of the day because they were genuinely enjoying themselves the whole time. Nothing seemed to bother this couple, not even the rain that forced them to spend most of the day indoors.

I am so happy for these newlyweds and so glad I got to be there to capture all the good bits!

Alex and Ophelia's Mollymook Wedding

Over the last couple of years many engaged couples have been forced to change their wedding plans thanks the pandemic. I can’t even imagine how upsetting that has been for so many people. For Alex and Ophelia, contracting the virus meant they had to hold off getting married until they were all clear. With a new date set, they reached out and asked me to photograph their intimate seaside ceremony.

These two tied the knot at Mollymook, NSW on the fourth of April with their closest friends and family. We spent the afternoon exploring the surrounding coastline for some portraits of the newlyweds. This was a beautiful wedding to document that showed bigger doesn’t always mean better.

Michael and Imera's Jervis Bay Wedding

With a very wet season, it has not been uncommon for couples to change their plans last minute. Just weeks out from their wedding Michael and Imera decided to move their Jervis Bay ceremony to an indoor location, so they secured The Flamin Galah Brewery to avoid the rain. This unique venue surpassed all expectations and made the perfect location to host their colourful day.

They exchanged their vows inside the Brewery and celebrated with friends and family in the beer garden. I love when couples dare to be different, and that’s exactly what Imera did. From her pink dress, pom pom bouquets and patterned bridesmaid dresses everything was colourful and fun.

Thank you Michael and Imera for allowing me to capture such a cool wedding, I wish you guys every happiness!

Jack and Krissie's Worrowing Wedding

I’m pretty damn excited to share this post with you, because I LOVE these guys! I had such a hard time picking which photos to share on the blog because there were so many happy smiles, cute moments, belly laughs and dance floor shots at this Worrowing Estate wedding.

Jack and Krissue wanted a wedding that prioritised their love for family, friends and of course each other. With the help of The Wedding and Event Creators, this couple was able to create a wedding that was so much fun I would do it again in a heartbeat.

The ceremony and reception venue—Worrowing Estate — is historic 250-acre coastal farm property just moments away from Jervis Bay. To enhance this already beautiful homestead, they incorporated deep red florals and and delicate arrangements throughout the wedding shed.

If you love a good time, then this post is for you.

Josh and Angie's Milton Wedding

A stunning Amy New gown, modern pink florals, and a reception venue overlooking Mollymook Beach—everything about this south coast wedding was perfect. With the help of wedding stylists Blue Bird and florist Darcie Fleur, Josh and Angie were able to bring their dream day to life.

The Old Church —a historic venue located in Milton NSW—created an amazing atmosphere for the afternoon ceremony. It has been lovingly restored and is surrounded by lush greenery. To add a pop of color to their wedding, this couple incorporated pink florals into the bouquet, the buttonholes, and onto the reception tables.

Throughout the day I heard many stories of how different guests knew the couple and where in life their paths had crossed. While each story was unique, there was a common theme in the comments made about how nice the bride and groom were. I meet a lot of people photographing weddings, and it’s true Josh and Angie have a special warmth and happiness. I loved spending my day getting to know them and celebrating such a big occasion in their lives.

Wez and Sarah's Wedding at The Cove

There’s nothing quite like tying the knot at an incredible paradise destination - for Wez and Sarah that’s exactly what they did. They gathered their friends and family and hired out an entire beach front resort in Jervis Bay.

Sarah and Wez started their celebration by exchanging their vows overlooking a romantic private beach at The Cove. The mid-day ceremony took our breath away but the party really kicked off at the reception in the wedding hall. There were so many stand out moments in the day, but the funniest one that comes to mind was when the groom received a new bodyboard as a gift which he tried out on the bridal table, which quickly came crashing down.  So many laughs, so much fun - what a wedding!
