Todd and Elle's Wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay

Todd and Elle had a beautiful vision for their wedding: to tie the knot overlooking the ocean with their closest family and friends. They decided to hire The Cove, a private resort located in Jervis Bay to host their special day.

On the day of the wedding Todd got ready with his groomsmen while Elle prepared with her bridesmaids. They kept things traditional and only locked eyes at the ceremony, this was a special moment as the groom shed a tear when he first saw his bride. Their ceremony overlooked the crystal clear waters of Jervis Bay and was framed by stunning florals. The couple exchanged rings and heartfelt vows before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife. They signed the legal documents and made their way back down the aisle hand in hand.

Once married, they joined the bridal party for portraits on the beach and then they had some alone as the sun began to set on the shore. The celebration continued with a relaxed dinner in the wedding hall. They enjoyed delicious food and drinks while surrounded by the most incredible ocean views.

I am so glad I was there to capture every precious detail from this gorgeous wedding so Todd and Elle can relive the memories for years to come.

Extended Winter Family Session

Thank you Lana for organising the following combined family shoots. The first took place in Bangalee where we met at the local reserve which is located on the northern side of the Shoalhaven River. For the second part of the session, we met up at Greenwell Point to change scenery and add a few new faces. Here are the highlights.

Kris and Michele's Wedding at The Woods Farm

The Woods Farm hosted an incredible love celebration on July 22nd when Kris and Michele tied the knot! Surrounded by lush greenery and a warm atmosphere, their wedding was a dream come true.

The Bush Chapel made a stunning backdrop for Kris and Michele's intimate ceremony. With rustic exposed beams, vintage chandeliers, and gorgeous florals, it set the stage for a perfect day.

Having spent the morning apart in the country cottages by the lake, Kris and Michele met for the first time when Michele was escorted down the aisle with her parents by her side. Kris shed a tear as her saw his bride for the first time. The two exchanged heartfelt vows and made promises for their future life together with their fur babies.

After the touching ceremony, it was time to celebrate! Guests lined up for a glass of champagne from the wall and the couple popped their first bottle to signify the start of the wedding fun. They explored the grounds for some portraits as the sun before making their way to the wedding barn for the reception. Kris and Michele's first dance was magical as they swayed and dipped surrounded their closest friends and family.

Kris and Michele's wedding was truly incredible. Surrounded by love and good vibes, their special day at The Woods Farm will be cherished forever. Here's to their love story and a lifetime of happiness! Cheers!

The Darmody Family

Earlier this week I met up with Nathan and Ashley for a lifestyle family shoot. These two have recently welcomed the newest member Grace to the family and it was so nice to see how well they are all doing. Congratulations Nathan and Ashley on your little girl, and an even bigger congratulations to Levi on your promotion to big brother.

Steven and Abbey's Barn On The Ridge Wedding

Steven and Abbey poured their hearts into planning their Milton wedding, ensuring every detail was personalised and meaningful. They chose St Mary’s Star of the Sea for their Catholic ceremony which was officiated by Father Michael. They had a bright colour palette which was incorporated into the florals and decor throughout the day. Their wedding was filled with love and everyone including their friends and family helped in making the occasion a memorable one.

With its sweeping views of Pigeon House Mountain and the Budawang Ranges, The Barn On The Ridge was the perfect place for the couple to host their reception. The tables were adorned with vibrant florals and candles which added to the overall ambiance of the rustic venue. They spent the evening toasting the good times, sharing a meal with their loved ones and hitting the dance floor.

Jethro and Caitlan's Woods Farm Wedding

Jethro and Caity tied the knot in Jervis Bay on the 22nd of June 2023 surrounded by friends and family. They spent the morning in the country cottages at The Woods Farm before making their way to the bush chapel for an afternoon ceremony which was officiated by Todd Mayhew. Once married they signed on the dotted line, sealed the deal with a kiss, and made their way down the aisle covered in confetti as husband and wife, as well as mum and dad.

Jethro and Caity were captivated by the quirkiness of the Woods Farm, which is why our team made sure that the portraits reflect the fun nature of the newlyweds.

The reception featured everlasting florals, modern stationery, and glimmering chandeliers. The addition of candles to the tablescape added to the ambiance of the evening. The night was spent back in the wedding barn where the couple shared their first meal as husband and wife, danced the night away, and heard heartfelt speeches from their loved ones. They created an unforgettable moment for their guests when they cut their cake with a sword.

Drew and Olivia's Engagement Session

As my wedding season has began to wind down for the winter I have been busy with mini sessions. My most recent was for my clients Drew and Olivia who are soon the be husband and wife.

Engagement sessions are one of the most exciting parts of the engagement season. They are a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day and an engagement is worth celebrating.

We met up at Blenheim Beach for some cute portraits on Sunday morning which the couple can now use to show the grandkids or for their wedding invites.

David and Annalise's Engagement Party

On the 10th of June 2023 David and Annalise celebrated their engagement in their new Berkeley home. The couple invited their closest friends and family over for a night to remember. They decorated the patio with some of their favourite photos, giant foil balloons and some beautiful fairy lights. They gathered around the grazing table for some special speeches and to watch a slideshow of their favourite memories. David’s family joined the couple live from England which made the night even more special.

Jamie and Ned's Far Meadow Cottage Wedding

A charming cottage in the historgic village of Berry, a beautiful bouquet and timeless wedding attire - Ned and Jamie’s winter wedding was a stunning celebration. While deciding which south coast venue to pick they stumbled across The Linnaeus Collection, and decided Far Meadow Cottage would be the perfect place to host their friends and family.

With the surrounding farm land and boutique homestead as their backdrop, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows in a private garden ceremony. For the intimiate reception that followed, floral centerpieces and bentwood chairs complemented the cottage’s country charm.

This beautiful Berry wedding is proof that less is more. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Baker!

Anthony and Leah's Wedding

With Anthony and Leah’s decision to have a Southern Highlands autumn wedding, their focus was on incorporating the warm, rich, earthy and vibrant colours into their day. They took inspiration from the landscape and used this throughout the styling and florals.

The couple selected an incredible venue in Moss Vale, Mali Brae Farm, which is set on 90 acres of idyllic and picturesque grounds. The ceremony was held in the Pavilion which was full of romantic ambiance created by the beautiful decor and crystal chandeliers. Behind the couple guests had captivating views through the expansive windows overlooking the rolling hills.

The Barn played host to the couples sit down reception which was rich in character and rustic sophistication. They enjoyed toasts from their loved ones, the first meal as husband and wife and they finished the night surrounded by their bridal party on the dance floor.

Anthony and Leah took great care in planning every aspect of their wedding, ensuring no detail was overlooked. Kyle and our team were so happy to be part of this special celebration and we wish the newlyweds congratulations!

Sean and Lara's Homestead Wedding

Sean and Lara set out to have a beautiful country wedding and that’s exactly what they did. While engaged, they stumbled across their dream wedding venue, The Homestead and they knew it was the perfect fit for them to tie the knot.

They started the morning in seperate cottages where they each got ready for the first look. Sean was waiting on the jetty with his back facing his soon to be bride as Lara made her way toward him. She placed her hand on his shoulder and he turned around to see her for the first time. In this moment you could feel the love, which really set the tone for the whole day. By having a first look early in the day, the couple was able to calm each others nerves, greet their families and have some portraits before heading off to the ceremony.

They tied the knot outside the silo in a garden ceremony which was officiated by Alisha Perkins who added a light hearted warmth to the celebration. Once married they set off for some more photos before making their way back to the Cow Shed for the reception. They enjoyed a night of speeches and dancing as they celebrated becoming husband and wife.

Sean and Lara’s Homestead wedding was the perfect reminder of why I love what I do, congratulations guys - you did it!

The Hartigan Family

Today I am sharing a few of my favourite photos from my recent session with The Hartigan Family. Jonathan and Katie decided to have their photos taken locally and they wanted a country setting with tall trees and open paddocks so we met up in West Nowra for some morning portraits. It was nice to catch up and see how Jude has grown since our last booking. Here are some of the highlights from our Sunday morning.

Callala Engagement Session

Deciding to spend forever with your best friend, that’s the easy part. Picking a photo location to have your engagement session, that’s where it gets a little more difficult. You want a beautiful setting where we can create memorable moments for the two of you. Lucky for us on the south coast, we have so many beaches with white sand and crystal clear water to choose from. Keiran and Kimberley wanted to have their photos taken at Callala Beach ahead of their wedding. Not only were their beloved furry friends part of their engagement shoot, they were also there to witness Keiran’s proposal earlier this year. Congratulations on your engagement guys!

The Lowe Family

Earlier this month I caught up with two of my favourite past wedding clients Cal and Maddy in the Southern Highlands for a family shoot. It was so nice to see them both and meet their beautiful daughter Airlie. We had a really nice morning exploring The Secret Garden and capturing some moments as a family of three. You can tell she is one very lucky girl to have two parents who love her so much!

Jarrod and Dayna's Wedding

We’re obsessed with the colourful and fun vibe of Jarrod and Dayna’s vibrant Jervis Bay wedding! The couple hired the exclusive use of The Cove, a waterfront resort that allowed them to have friends glamp and stay in cabins for a multi-day celebration. Dayna was a no-stress bride who completely trusted her team of vendors to bring her vision to life. The result - a beautiful coastal wedding with pops of bright colour.

The morning started with Jarrod and Dayna getting ready with the bridal party. Dayna surprised her bridesmaids with a first look which made for an unforgettable moment. The couple tied the knot overlooking the beach in an afternoon ceremony. Once married, they set off into the national park surrounding the venue for portraits as the sun began to set. They entered the reception through sparkler tunnel formed by their guests. Throughout the reception, there were heartfelt speeches, delicious food and drinks, a hilarious shoe game and a jam backed dance floor.

We had so much fun capturing this gorgeous celebration and we cannot wait to show you the video!

Peter and Kylee's Murramarang Wedding

The 20th of May 2023 was a special day for Peter and Kylee as this was the day they celebrated their marriage. They spent the morning with family and friends in the cabins overlooking the ocean at Murramarage Resort before making their way to the outdoor ceremony where Kylee was walked down the aisle and given away by her son.

Once married they joined the bridal party for some portraits on the rocks and then they set off alone in the nearby national park for some sunset shots. The reception was held in the function room of the resort which had been decorated with custom signage, beautiful florals and overhanging fairy lights. The night consisted of lovely toasts and the groom sang to his bride as they made their first dance.

It was a day to remember, congratulations Peter and Kylee!

Glen and Julie's Robertson Wedding

Julie and Glenn were set on a Southern Highlands Autumn wedding, and when you look at their gallery you can see why. Aside from having a cozy celebration, a wedding in May means lots of gorgeous trees in the backdrop of your portraits.

Their wedding was held in the gardens of Robertson Pub where they were joined by friends and family for a heartfelt ceremony that was bursting with beautiful florals and lush greenery.

After the ceremony, they kicked off the celebration with a traditional sit down dinner where we heard loving speeches and funny stories. The night was lots of fun and when it was time for me to go everyone was surrounding the newlyweds on the dance floor, just how you imagine a wedding reception should be!

With every detail reflecting their love for each other and for their beautiful family, this couple’s Robertson wedding was a dream come true. Thank you for allowing me to capture your special day and congratulations on your marriage!
