Ivan and Komal in Kangaroo Valley

What began as a planned wedding turned into something just as meaningful — a beautifully intimate couples shoot for Komal and Ivan. Set against the stunning backdrop of La Belle Vallée Farm Escape, their day was nothing short of magical.

Perched on 60 acres of pristine land overlooking the charming village of Kangaroo Valley, La Belle Vallée offers a quiet kind of luxury. Thoughtfully designed to embrace 270 degrees of uninterrupted views, the home invites nature right into its heart — the perfect canvas for Komal and Ivan’s story.

Though the celebration shifted from a wedding to a couples shoot, the emotion, love, and connection between them remained untouched. As the sun lit up the valley and soft winds moved through the hills, Komal and Ivan embraced the moment with grace and warmth.

Every photo captures not only their bond but also the peaceful energy of the landscape around them — rolling hills, endless skies, and the quiet magic of the valley. Their story, though different than planned, unfolded in a way that felt entirely true to them.

Sometimes, the most beautiful memories are born when we let go of the plan — and simply live in the moment.

The Brown Family

I recently had the joy of photographing the Brown family in their cozy home at Greenwell Point. With three kids now filling their space with laughter and love, the newest addition, Archie, arrived on July 26th, bringing even more warmth to their lives.

Archie’s big brother Cooper and big sister Lara were beaming with excitement, making the family portraits truly heartwarming. There’s something incredibly special about capturing these moments in the very house their dad built—a true labor of love for their growing family.

Being able to witness and document this beautiful chapter for the Browns reminded me how much a home is more than just walls; it’s where memories are made. Congratulations to the Browns on their wonderful new beginning as a family of five.

The Hartigan Family at Moona Moona

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of photographing Katie, Jonathan, and their son Jude at the beautiful Moona Moona Creek and Huskisson Beach. As returning clients, it’s always a joy to capture new memories for them as a little family on the South Coast. The afternoon light was soft and golden, and the beach provided the perfect spot for Jude to unwind and play while we snapped some relaxed, heartfelt moments. It’s sessions like these that remind me how special it is to document growing families in places they love.

Michael and Amanda's Camden Wedding

On the 12th of July, Amanda and Michael tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the picturesque Camden Valley Inn. Nestled on five acres of beautiful countryside, this venue offered the perfect backdrop for their special day, infusing it with a warm and rustic country charm.

Once a humble local community milkbar back in 1939, Camden Valley Inn has since blossomed into a premier country escape. Its rich history and scenic surroundings made it an ideal spot for Amanda and Michael’s small, heartfelt celebration — a day filled with love, laughter, and the timeless beauty of the countryside.

Their wedding was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest settings hold the most meaning, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Charles and Shayani's Kangaroo Valley Wedding

On the 8th of July, Charles and Shayani tied the knot in one of the most breathtaking and intimate ceremonies imaginable. Set on the stunning slopes of Mt Scanzi in Kangaroo Valley, their wedding was held at Sky Ridge, a property as bold and beautiful as the love they share.

With only their closest loved ones present, the celebration was small and deeply personal. Surrounded by sweeping, elevated views and the peaceful seclusion of nature, Sky Ridge provided the perfect backdrop for their vows.

The house itself brought a serious wow factor. Its striking industrial style and dramatic architectural design gave the celebration a unique and modern edge, a true testament to the visible hand of a bold architect. The reception took place inside, where the space transformed into an effortlessly stylish gathering filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

A perfect day for a perfect couple. Intimate, unforgettable, and truly one-of-a-kind.

Chris and Leah's Engagement Session

Leah and Chris’s engagement session at Seven Mile Beach in Gerroa was nothing short of magical. With the golden light of late afternoon casting a warm glow over the sweeping coastline, the couple shared effortless laughter and quiet moments that reflected the deep connection between them. The natural beauty of the beach—endless sand, gentle waves, and open sky—provided the perfect backdrop for their love story to unfold. As they strolled hand-in-hand along the shore, it was clear this pre-wedding shoot wasn’t just about capturing photos—it was about freezing in time the joy, anticipation, and tenderness that marks the beginning of their forever.

Simon and Sheridan's Woods Farm Wedding

On the 28th of June, Simon and Sheridan tied the knot in a celebration as vibrant and unique as they are. Set against the stunning backdrop of The Woods Farm in Jervis Bay, their wedding blended rustic charm with personal flair, turning the venue into a vivid tapestry of love, laughter, and a touch of metal.

The day began with the couple getting ready in two of the farm’s most iconic locations; Sheridan in the whimsical Lake House, surrounded by her bridal party and the soft light filtering through the trees, while Simon prepped with his groomsmen in the rustic Hen House. With a big bridal party by their side, the couple had energetic excitement surrounding them!

The ceremony took place in the Bush Chapel, a magical setting nestled under the canopy of native trees. Surrounded by colourful blooms, close friends, and the sounds of nature, the couple said “I do” in a moment that felt like something out of a fairytale, with a metal soundtrack twist, of course.

Post-ceremony, the property became the perfect playground for portraits. From the friendly farm animals and the charming old firetruck to the winding bush trails, every corner of The Woods Farm offered a chance to capture Simon and Sheridan's connection in all its raw, joyful energy.

From heartfelt vows to headbanging tunes, their day was a beautiful collision of love and personality. A wedding to remember, just like the couple themselves.

Photographed at the coastal home in Bawley Point where Sarah grew up and where she later married Christian, this session felt like coming full circle. The ocean nearby, familiar spaces, and timeless beauty of the home created the perfect backdrop to welcome their newest addition.

Emerson’s older sisters were beaming with pride, gently doting on him and clearly thrilled with their new role. Their quiet excitement and love brought such a tender energy to every image. As for Sarah and Christian, they are so in love with their growing family.

Emma's Maternity Session in Jervis Bay

It was such a joy to catch up with Emma and her beautiful family for her maternity session in Huskisson on a pretty winter afternoon. Having photographed them over the years, it felt like reuniting with old friends as they prepare to welcome baby number two. Emma looked radiant as ever, and it was heartwarming to see her husband Liam and their little boy sharing in the excitement. The soft winter light made for a dreamy backdrop, capturing the quiet anticipation and love that surrounds this growing family.

Family Session at Tomerong

Last month, I had the pleasure of capturing a beautiful family session at a private property in Tomerong. The session was extra special as it took place on the mum’s land—an idyllic, peaceful setting that held so much personal meaning for everyone. Surrounded by green paddocks and the charm of country life, we gathered her adult children and their little ones for a relaxed and joy-filled afternoon. From candid laughs to quiet, tender moments between generations, it was a heartwarming reminder of how powerful and lasting family connections are, especially when captured in a place so close to the heart.

Family Session at Burrill Lake

It’s always so great to catch up with past clients to update the family photos. Recently I spent some time with Cohen and Anna, and their big extended family at Burril Lake. We took the time to capture everyone together and then each of the combinations within the group, some with grandkids, some with big kids, pregnancy and all the little moments between.

Ashley and Helen's Homestead Wedding

Ashley and Helen tied the knot in a beautiful, joy-filled celebration at The Homestead in Berry on June 7th. Surrounded by sweeping views and soft country charm, their day was effortlessly elegant, full of warmth, laughter, and plenty of heartfelt moments.

The ceremony took place outdoors, with lush greenery and a gorgeous pink palette setting the tone for the day. Helen got ready in the cosy dairy cottage, joined by her mum and three daughters, a special and sweet time of bonding before the celebrations began. Ash kept things relaxed, getting ready nearby with his best man.

Their children played a beautiful role throughout the day, bringing extra joy and meaning to every moment. From the vows to the dance floor, the atmosphere was filled with love not just between the couple, but from every direction; family, friends, and especially their girls.

The reception flowed naturally from ceremony to celebration, with guests enjoying canapés and drinks on the lawn before moving into the evening’s festivities. The styling leaned into soft pinks and thoughtful details, creating a warm, romantic feel that was elegant without being overdone.

The team of vendors brought everything together seamlessly, from the stunning florals to the delicious food and flowing music, every element reflected Ashley and Helen’s vision and personalities.

Shane and Danica's Bendooley Wedding

Shane and Danica tied the knot in a romantic and joy-filled celebration at Bendooley Estate – The Stables, surrounded by the charm of the Southern Highlands and the love of their closest family and friends.

The couple spent the night before the wedding at Park Proxi Bowral, and the morning was filled with excitement as they each got ready with their loved ones. From quiet moments to laughter and final touches, the anticipation was heartfelt and real.

The ceremony took place in the picturesque courtyard, framed by rustic stable doors. Celebrant Sharyn Cleaver led a meaningful and intimate ceremony, with special moments like a heartfelt poem read by Lily Lavery and Danica’s flowers lovingly held by Bella Lavery. Personal vows, shared in front of all, created a tender and emotional highlight.

Danica walked down the aisle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow, setting the perfect tone for their union. After sealing their vows with a kiss, the newlyweds signed their marriage certificate to the tune of Stargazing, marking the start of their next chapter together.

After a delicious shared meal, Shane and Danica took a moment to thank their guests, expressing deep gratitude for the support, love, and presence of those both near and far. It was a touching tribute to the community around them.

Next came the cutting of their wedding cake, followed by a romantic first dance to How Do I Live. As the music swelled and guests gathered around, it was clear how deeply connected and in love they truly are.

The dance floor came alive with energy, including a special round of Serbian dancing that had everyone cheering and joining in. The celebration continued with dessert and late-night snacks, wrapping up a day that was as elegant as it was fun.

Rhys and Leilany's Wedding at The Lodge

On June 3rd, Rhys and Leilany tied the knot in a magical celebration at The Lodge—a dreamy country resort nestled in the rainforest hills of Jamberoo. But this wasn't just a wedding. It was an all-out, joy-filled holiday with their nearest and dearest—Euro vibes on the South Coast kind of magic.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this would be so much more than just a ceremony. Think forest air, champagne on lush lawns, a gelato cart under the stars, and a dancefloor that didn’t stop.

The day kicked off with Rhys and the boys getting prepped and ready, while Leilany glowed with excitement as her girls helped her get dressed. By 3:30pm, all eyes were on the couple as they said “I do” under the trees, followed by a beautiful confetti exit that kicked off the celebrations.

Golden hour was for portraits and prosecco, with the newlyweds stealing away for photos while guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the Champagne Lawn. As the sun dipped behind the hills, Rhys and Leilany returned to cut the cake and pour their iconic champagne tower.

The reception? A feast. Literally. Guests were treated to a buffet dinner, heartfelt speeches, and a packed dancefloor that opened right after the first dance. Cake and gelato rolled in by 9pm, followed by a bouquet toss that had everyone cheering.

Nestled deep in the heart of the valley, this unique and secluded 100-acre property gave their wedding the feeling of an intimate escape, surrounded by nature, love, and their closest family and friends.

The ceremony took place in the venue’s iconic Rock Cathedral – a natural amphitheatre of ancient stone formations that framed their vows with drama and beauty. With the escarpments rising in the distance and the soft sounds of the bush all around, it felt like something out of a fairytale.
