On September 17th, Chris and Danielle tied the knot in one of the most striking wedding locations in NSW, the unforgettable Kangaroo Valley Bush Retreat.
Set on 100 acres of untouched bushland, this place isn’t just a venue, it’s a full experience. With no interruptions, no competing events, and nature doing most of the heavy lifting, it felt more like a private celebration deep in the wilderness than a typical wedding.
The ceremony took place at the Rock Cathedral, a natural amphitheatre surrounded by towering sandstone cliffs. It was dramatic, grounded, and deeply personal, exactly the kind of setting that doesn’t need much dressing up.
As the sun dropped behind the valley, the couple snuck away for portraits that were nothing short of cinematic. Golden light, a sprawling horizon, and the kind of views that leave you speechless, it all came together effortlessly.
Later, everyone gathered for drinks at the lookout which was a fun and relaxed start to the afternoon. As the night rolled in, the fire lit up and the dancing started under a blanket of stars.
It wasn’t just a wedding day. It was a celebration that felt both grounded and elevated, intimate, real, and unforgettable. Just like Chris and Danielle.
