Having spent the last few months in lockdown nothing seems as important as family. I was so happy to be back shooting in Jervis Bay, here are the highlights from my first family session at the beach. What a beautiful family!
Welcome to the world Ivy
Welcoming a newborn into your family is a beautiful and emotional time. As a newborn photographer, I love when I am given the opportunity to document these early days as everyone in the family gets to know its newest addition. That’s why it was such a pleasure to meet up with Joey and Liz to welcome their beautiful baby girl Ivy into the world with a lifestyle session in their home. She is perfect.

There is such a special bond between a mother and her child. I had the pleasure of photographing Bronte and her daughter Audrey. With Audrey’s father away in the navy these two have spent a lot of time getting to know one another, and you can see just how special their connection is. Thank you Bronte for allowing me to document some of the first moments of motherhood.

Last weekend I had my first session in Canberra with the Price family. We met up at their house for some quick photos with their dogs before heading for a stroll in their neighborhood. The Castle Family
It wasn’t long ago that I met the Castle family at my Christmas mini sessions at Terara Riverside Gardens. Fast forward eight months and they are now a family of four. Breeanna welcomed me into her home to capture some of those precious moments as they welcomed their baby into the world. We had two smitten parents, a loved up sleepy baby and one very proud big sister.

Having kids at the same time as your sibling means lots of grandkids for your parents and lots of cousins for the children. I recently caught up with Mitch and Laura and their beautiful families in Shoalhaven Heads. They wanted to update their family photos and thought why not include both families so they could get some photos of all the kids together who are so close. The Schuser Family in Jervis Bay
Earlier this month I photographed the Schuser family in Jervis Bay. We met up at my favourite beach, Greenfields and just captured some natural photos. Since it’s winter here in Australia, we had the whole place to ourselves. Here are some of the highlights.
The Cove Jervis Bay
Last week we took our family to The Cove Jervis Bay, boutique beach side accomodation located in Booderee National Park. The best thing about this getaway was that we didn’t have to drive far, so less time in the car meant more time roasting marshmallows, chasing kangaroo’s and playing yard games. Our girls haven’t stopped talking about the pirate playground. Here are some of the highlights from our trip.
Kevin and Kate's Milton Wedding
Kate and Kevin tied the knot on Saturday the 19th of June 2021 at St Mary’s Star of the Sea in Milton. The two said their vows in front of the alter, with their friends and family present in what was a really intimate wedding. With rain forecast we were a little concerned about the portraits, but luck was on their side and we were able to capture some beautiful golden hour photos on the hill behind the church. After the traditional Catholic ceremony and afternoon portraits they re-joined their guests for a night of celebrating at Mollymook Beachside Weddings. There were so many beautiful moments throughout the day, but one worth mentioning was when Kate walked down the aisle. She took a breath and smiled, so happy the moment was finally here. I looked up at Kevin who was staring at his bride with the biggest smile on his face. Even their happiness was in sync.

Maisie Stuart Newborn Shoot

Medibank Live Better Shoot
One of my recent corporate clients was Medibank. The goal of the shoot was to tell a story through professional photography. I captured candid lifestyle shots that showed Mike living better while working from home. Mike has moved to the south coast to create a better work life balance, the photos showed what his family every day life is like.
Run Faster Sydney Shoot
My latest branding shoot for Run Faster took place at The Ridge Athletic Track. What I’ve come to learn about this brand is that they really foster community. Not only do they sell activewear but they also connect with their customers on a personal level through their VIP group #RFlifestyle. The Berry Family in Jervis Bay
It feels like only yesterday that Laura and Thomas were saying I do at St Michaels Church and celebrating their marriage in Gerringong. Fast forward to now, and these two are busy parenting their three little ones. I had so much fun catching up with this family for a session in beautiful Jervis Bay and it was so nice to hear how married life is treating them. At Home with Katie and Jonathan
Congratulations to Katie and Jonathan who have just welcomed their first child into the world. I had the pleasure of joining these two in their home for a newborn session and it was so sweet to see how in love they are with their baby. Since they are both in the military, and have just returned from sea these memories are even more important for their family. Here are some of the highlights from our time together.
Iain and Chanel's Wedding at Audley Dance Hall
On Saturday the 12th of June 2021 Chanel and Iain tied the knot in Wattle Forest and it was one hell of an emotional ceremony. Their celebrant Jessica reflected on their last six years together, from swiping right on tinder to traveling the world and building a new life together. They made promises to continue to support each other and always bring out the best in one another. Once the marriage was official they joined their bridal party which was made up of Iain’s brothers, Chanel’s brother and her best friend to explore the National Park for some portraits. Once the sun had gone down it was time to rejoin their guests at Audley Dance Hall for a night of toasts, cake and of course dancing! We enjoyed celebrating with this beautiful couple and we were reminded throughout the day just how great love its.Congratulations Chanel and Iain.

Jessica and Andrew's Engagement Shoot
Earlier this month I met up with one of my lovely wedding couples for their engagement shoot. Jessica and Andrew were so easy to photograph because these two are so in love! We met up at Narrawallee on the south coast and went for a stroll along the beach as we wanted to achieve natural candid shots. Now that the pre wedding shoot is over, they can use their images to create their invitations and begin the countdown to their special day.
Welcome to the world Emilia
After a stint in the Sydney hospital it was time to bring baby Emilia home. This family of three is doing well, and while we didn’t capture those first two sleepy weeks this next stage is just as exciting. During our session little Emilia was so alert and even gave us some smiles - the kind that really does make your heart melt. Congratulations to Clarissa and thank you for allowing me to document such a special time in your lives.
